pauly Posted February 13, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2022 So the Port Everglades website states to "Keep identification/cruise documents handy". Since we get the Boarding Pass on the app, do we have to print something out to show the main gate security, or will they accept the Boarding Pass on the app/phone? Corby114 Posted February 13, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2022 On most occasions the security employees are looking to see either your passport or drivers license that shows photo identification. I can’t remember the last time that they actually wanted to see your boarding pass.

Corby114's response to your question is what I usually have experienced as well. The security guard may ask which ship you are on. Their goal, while trying to keep the Port safe, is also to keep traffic moving.
Suzanne123 Posted February 14, 2022 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2022 This morning we waited at least 20 minutes at the security checkpoint. They asked to see everyone’s passport, the Lyft driver’s papers, and then they checked the trunk ( for what, I’m not sure because they just saw suitcases and didn’t ask anyone to open them.) We were bumper to bumper with the huge fuel tanker trucks, and then they had a full bus load of people back up and take a different lane. Ai yi yi. I felt so sorry for people in taxis with the meters running. I never had that experience at the checkpoint until today.
