I'm enjoying your review/pictures of the Enchanted Princess here as that is possibly one of the ships we are thinking of doing next year, or the Caribbean. I know there is a difference (16) in years, but we are thinking of one of those ships.

We prefer the Enchanted because of the dining options . We booked the Caribbean because of the location in 3 weeks .

Still enjoying your review and pictures of the Enchanted. When you mentioned the Regal (we did it earlier this year) and showed pictures of the lighthouse, that brought back GOOD memories too me. I am "81" years old, and I was able (my 3 sons were concerned about me walking it) to climb to the top of the lighthouse, and how thrilled I was to be able to STILL be doing this at my age. 🙂

Still enjoying your review/pictures of the Enchanted, and when you showed St. Lucia, I was a happy Camper. The reason being, I have been blessed to visit it 3 times as it is my favorite port, and my 3 sons/wives were able to snorkel below the Piton Mountains, which was so neat! Love your rainbow pictures too.

ScubacruiserX2, once again, thanks for your input on the Enchanted. I have contacted our PVP and left a message, as she did a great job for our February cruise on the Regal this year. My sons in the meantime are going to check out prices, and see what they come up with as well. I hope for your sake, you can get the cellulitis under control, as I told you I was in the hospital all those times for it, and eventually it was so bad, they had to do surgery on my food, and I have a large C on the top of my foot. I also had major knee surgery on my leg also, but I am BLESSED to get around (when I tell people my age they almost go into shock as they say I don't look that old, and the way I get around too. I say God HELPS me.)

Itchy and Scratchy, thanks for your input on the Caribbean as well. I don't think everyone has made up their mind as yet, but I think they are leaning more to the Enchanted. My concern was that everyone works, and trying to get off those extra days.

do not do the Caribbean Princess. IMHO.

The deafening noise in the piazza on Royal class ships turns me off. Each to their own. With so many bars and food venues surrounding that area is just turn off for me

We did SCUBA dive at the Pitons on previous trips and loved it . Currently hooked up to a 3rd round of IV antibiotics and feeling better and ready to go home , hopefully today !

This is the 2nd awesome review about Enchanted Princess. There was Itchy & Scratchys excellent recent review and now there is this excellent review from Scubacruiserx2. A while ago I was hoping someone would post a comprehensive review for our upcoming trip on Enchanted and I feel very lucky to have 2 reviews to get acquainted with the ship before we travel. Thank you!

We were on the Enchanted March 2024 for 10 night Caribbean cruise. Great ship. The only complaint/issue/negative for us was the cigarette smell coming from the smoking lounge, aka the casino drifting out into the surrounding venues.

Thank you and if you have questions , ask away . Best wishes for the upcoming cruise . We leave 2 weeks from tomorrow to London for the CB but it's more about the location rather than the ship for us .

As someone just posted, I am so thankful to be able to read these Enchanted Princess reviews. Yes, I KNOW it is their opinion, but so far it sounds/looks pretty good to me. In fact, I just contacted my PVP day before yesterday, as all of my group WANT to do the Enchanted, and are looking forward to doing the 10 day cruise. I and them as well have never done 10, so this will be a new experience for us. We have mentioned that if we don't (some of us have visited the ports before, but quite some time ago) want to get off the ship, there is always something going on if we want to be entertained.

It sounds like a good trip . We think that you will love 10 days  Our longest was  6 weeks and we thought that may be too much , but we loved it ! 🙂😊

Scubacruiserx2, well I never know (81 but most people think I look/act younger), but this may be the last cruise, so I'm planning on making the best of it, like I have done so far. 🙂

just be advised that the crowd on a 10 day Enchanted was very geriatric compared to a 7 day Enchanted cruise.

Ah, I see, you are a young 81. You'll be fine.
