Covid cancellation FCC rules

If you get a FCC due to a positive Covid test before a cruise forcing cancellation, how long is it good for?

 

(I haven't yet tested positive, but I have a cough and am getting tested tomorrow. Cruise is 2/26, so if it's positive, I'm done.)

I don't know, but I wish you good luck!  We are cruising on the 26th too and hoping for negative tests.

Thanks. Today's Covid test came back negative, fortunately. But it's possible it was too early to get a positive rapid test result. The true test is the Thursday one two days before my cruise.

I believe it is a year, but when I had to cancel a cruise late last fall because of a Covid exposure, they ended up issuing me a full refund back to my card.

Not well, as it turns out. Our Monday tests were negative, but our pre-cruise Covid test for Saturday's Mardi Gras cruise came back positive, so we obviously are no longer going on a cruise.

Oh, I hate to hear that!  Hope you feel better soon.  When I tested positive and had to cancel this week's Magic cruise, I was told FCC is good for a year.

Thanks. I actually don't feel that sick. At it's worst it was like an average cold, and today I feel mostly recovered.

 

The worst part is when you call to cancel because you tested positive, while on hold they have to taunt you about it by making you hear about the Blue Iguana tequila bar, the Red Frog rum bar, and everything else they are promoting tht you won't be able to do.

 

Can't I just hold in silence instead?

I am soooo sorry you couldnt go 😞  This is a huge fear of mine and been testing everyday... leave in 7!
