How is MSC handling Grand Cayman being closed?

I am sailing on the Divina on February 27, 2022.....2 days from today.   It still shows on the itinerary.

The Grand Cayman government is going to be making an announcement TODAY detailing the start of cruise ships returning to Grand Cayman.   As soon as I see something, I will let you know. On my ship, we are scheduled for Grand Cayman on March 2.

The government of the Cayman Islands announced this evening that cruise ship will be able to visit commencing March 21, 2022.  No ships until then.

I read the article posted in the carnival boards. Mentioned only one port I saw, not the one rcl uses for instance and says starting at lower capacity levels at first. ..but it's a start.

I was so happy to read about Cayman Islands opening again. Its on our itenerary for Seashore embarking from Miami 23rd April…

or at least it was!

sometime in the last few days MSC has removed it from our schedule!

looks like no Cayman Islands for us 😫

I'm on the same sailing. I've learned with MSC to check my cruise every day. PITA, but only way I can make sure my cabin hasn't been lost, cruise canceled, etc.

Cayman was there yesterday for me...it's gone today.
