I want to stash a turkey sammich in the room just in case I get hungry later. Geechy guy is at 11:15 so I’m going to be up till midnight. We’re an hour from the 10:30 show and then he’s at 11:15. Deli closes at 11pm so now is the time.

I slipped out of the comedy show just before the end and hit the deli before anyone else.

Back down at the comedy club it’s 9:48 and they haven’t opened the doors yet.

Oh duh it’s a 10:30 comedy show. That’s a short turnaround from a 10:30 to an 11:15

But just because people were lined up an hour before the show does not mean you have to line up an hour before the show to get in. We’re 15 mins out and there’s no line and plenty of space available.

The way they’re handling the short turnaround is they just aren’t clearing the lounge. Interesting. I think maybe 25% left.

Was a good looking camel, pretty big.  Guessing somebody put their kid on it and something unfortunate happened.  Just a guess.

They took it away like a week before I sailed on it in 2020 because people were posing for inappropriate pictures with it.

See right here is where people completely lose me when they start on the "ALL food was terrible, inedible."  My family and I could easily subsist on this walk up counter alone for a week if all else failed, which of course it never does. And in my experience, it's hardly just subsistence. These are GOOD sandwiches and it would take the full week of purposely avoiding most other venues just to try them all.

On Mardi Gras I ordered the turkey (#10) and it came with no avocado, no cucumber, no arugula and no basil.  So they slapped some american cheese on it before I could say "I don't want that fake cheese!"

I got up 7ish. Showered, changed and whatnot.

Then I took my sammich  plate to the buffet. Which is even more convenient now since there’s a coffee shop in the buffet
