darknitecruiser Posted February 28, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2022 Hello, Is it possible to use the HDMI ports on the televisions in the crown loft suites? I heard it was possible to do it in the past but it seems as if the televisions are situated differently which may make it difficult to access the HDMI port. Thanks. Ashland Posted February 28, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2022 If it's a built in swivel TV there's no way. We couldn't in our OS on Navigator...something we never thought of until we got there. Hopefully the type of cabin you're considering you'll be able to.

If not obvious, ask your cabin attendant for help with that connection.
HicksRA Posted March 1, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 1, 2022 Recently off a CLS on Harmony and I was able to access the hdmi port on the downstairs tv. I’d assume Oasis is probably the same setup. We streamed HULU.

You can access the HDMI on all the TV's even the tilt ones, its very tight and difficult to get your hand back there, but it absolutely can be done. HicksRA Posted March 1, 2022 #6 Share Posted March 1, 2022 You need to bring a universal remote set for Samsung to switch inputs.

No...you can't when their built in a cabinet and swivel between the OS living space and the bedroom. So your key word "all" isn't always correct. Look at an OS picture on the Voyager class and you'll see what I mean.

tcrandal Posted March 10, 2022 #11 Share Posted March 10, 2022 (edited) I always take 'em off the mount when I arrive, hook up the HDMI cable for the week and I'm good to go until we leave. Usually just a standard TV mount, release on both sides (pull down cords) and lift off. TV's aren't large, so simple for one to do. Edit: I'm referring to the normal wall mounted TVs, so apologize if it doesn't apply to the Swivel TV's that you were asking about. We've never had to take them completely off the wall mount...The HDMI has always been easy to access those on a standard wall mount.
