I do know a lot of people enjoy the monkey one!! Seems like a good fit for the family.

So the hotel has an airport shuttle. You have to call and request it. I didn’t see any airport shuttles when I came out, but I did see the Uber line. I wasn’t able to sleep much on plane so time was more of a priority to me. Called for an Uber, it was fast and easy. $34.

So the hotel is fine. It’s fine. It’s a bit older and pretty basic, but it’ll get the job done. It had the best ratings and reviews of the reasonably priced hotels this weekend (and still at $300/night!).  It was about a 10 minute right from airport. When you turn left from the street you pass a huge water park then the tri-rail station, then get to the hotel. My room is on the backside of the hotel and from my balcony I have a view of the airport and Pt. Everglades. Oh, and they sell Tito’s at the front desk!

It’s on Cordova Road by the Hyatt Place and Embassy Suites. It’s an old tradition, so I had to! I took an Uber, yeah. Bass is definitely in walking distance but that’s it. We are right next to a tri rail station though.

We did this tour through Seavis. It is the Saona Carnival Special tour...it is not a ship sponsored tour that is just the name of it.
