Testing to fly to USA????

 Hi there we have a flight leaving Toronto at 10:30 am on Wednesday to FLL arriving at 1:30 pm on Wednesday... we are leaving Nova Scotia the day before overnight in Toronto... our plan is to get tested in Nova scotia at 9:00 am on Tuesday is this still within the day before for arriving in FLL.... so confused is does say the day before testing has to be done... TIA

If you get tested in Canada on Tuesday, you can fly to the US on Wednesday.

If you are flying into the US on Wednesday, you can take your test at any time on Tuesday or before your flight on Wednesday.

 

• If you plan to travel internationally, you will need to get a COVID-19 viral test (regardless of vaccination status or citizenship) no more than 1 day before you travel by air into the United States. You must show your negative result to the airline before you board your flight.
