Aust / NZ 2024 cruises + On demand movies query

Does Oceania charge for On Demand Movies.  Viking doesn't, yet Azamara does.

Oceania has a 35 day Sydney to Sydney to cruise 22/23 but is booked out. (well waitlisted, which I presume is the same thing)  I hope they have something similar when 2024 voyages come out.

No charge for “on demand” movies on Oceania.

We are some of the lucky ones who booked this cruise, we actually did a prebooking and it sold out very quickly. As far as I know they do this one every two years not each year but you might want to check directly with Oceania on that.

 

You could always ask to be on the waitlist and maybe you will also be a “lucky one”, if so see you in December.

How do the on demand movies work?

 

Do you borrow a DVD from their library or directly watch it on your TV under a closed circuit movie channel?

 

Assume the former is available but what the OP is posting about works with the latter.

I think it's every year. We were booked on the 2020 (cancelled), 2021 (cancelled) and now dec 2022 (G-d willing).

they are loaded on the TV, we just touch screen the movie and it work great.
