Hello all -

 

We are on the August 5 - 12, Celebrity Millennium.

We have already booked the train at 6 pm to take us from Seward to Anchorage.

We were wondering what is AWESOME to do during the day!

I would love to hear some of your ideas!

You would have time for an excursion to the Exit Glacier - (if you haven't seen enough

of the glaciers yet)

The longest Kenai Fjords Tour you can book that will have you back by 5:00 PM to catch the train. The Alaska Sea Life Center is a good option if you need to fill a couple of hours.

If you don’t want to do a marine tour (which I highly recommend but understand it may not be a high priority after a week long cruise), I would suggest taking the Real Alaska Tour.  You will visit Exit Glacier, take a dog sled ride at Seavey’s Kennels, have lunch at a local restaurant before getting dropped off at the train depot in Seward.  The company will also take care of your luggage for you—you’ll see it again in Anchorage.

A Kenai Fjords cruise would be at the top of my list.  A visit to the Alaska Sea Life Center would be on my list as well.
