Current B2B routine

We are on a B2B in May. Can anyone describe how they handle B2B cruisers? Covid test for 2nd week? Do they make you get totally off the ship? I know there used to be a special lunch-do they still do that? If you are staying in the same cabin, do they allow you to return to it before cabins are typically open?

It varies slightly from ship to ship and cruise terminal.

* Passengers tested (free/included) day before disembarkation or turn around day.

* For our Liberty, Navigator, and Symphony sailings b2b passengers were totally off the ship. For our Ovation sailings, we went outside deck 5, used our old seapass cards to "ting" out, then simply turned around and used our new seapass cards and got back inside.

* Yes, there's still a special lunch...on the Navigator, they opened the Windjammer half hour earlied for b2b passengers.

* Yes, you will have access to your stateroom.

Minor hijack to ask a B2B question. What time do they kick you out of your room to check out/in on B2B day? Any chance to sleep in, or they still roll you out as early as they do everyone else?

Our B2B TAD meeting place on the Explorer (13 and 20 March) was held in the Star Lounge at 9:15. We never left the Star Lounge for the whole process. Customs boarded the ship. Well organized and went quickly. Cabins available at anytime. Consecutive cruisers lunch was held in the MDR from 12 to 1:00 PM.

You can remain in your cabin until it's time to go to your designated b2b meeting area...typically between 9:00 am - 9:30 am.

You can see from these responses that Royal doesn’t handle the B2B process consistently.

We were B2B on Oasis for the March 20 and 27 sailings.  We had to meet in the theater at 9am.  We could not return to our cabins until they were available to everyone.  There was a consecutive cruiser lunch in the dining room.

We had to make an appointment for our Covid tests.  The tests were done  between 8:00-9:00 am on the last full day of the first cruise.  It took over 4 hours to receive emails with our test results.

Make sure you go to Guest Services early during the first cruise to make sure you’re on their B2B list.
