We had no production shows last week on Vista.  The singers/dancers were off due to a medical issue, I was told.  They filled in with a concert by the Vista Rock Band and they also had a show where the two comedians performed.  Both shows were good, but it would have been nice to see one of the production shows if we wanted.  It also “robbed” the other venues (like the Ocean Plaza where the band plays for dancing) that night.  Not the end of the world, certainly, but a small disappointment.

 

While I’m on the subject of the band, the female singer and the lead guitarist were outstanding.  The male singer wasn’t as good as his partner and he became rather annoying (with his banter) after a while.

3900 and about 10% under 18. We usually cruise during school breaks so the difference in kids is very noticeable.

Staying hydrated is always a challenge for me while onboard. I got off caffeine a couple months ago but decaf from the marketplace with real cream is still a lovely treat each morning.

I need to find the guest laundry today. The room info refers only to ironing rooms and we packed expecting to run a load or two this week. We can stretch if needed but I’d rather find that out today.

The high wind sign is still up prohibiting visits to the secret deck outside our room. As we are now docked in typical calm tropical conditions, there is no wind and so Kmom definitely did NOT ignore the sign, proceed to the verboten area, and snap these pics.

If you’re on a high deck, deck 9 port side pretty much on the other side of the elevator lobby.
