While re-booking our excursion we were told that we will not be able to book entertainment reservations.   Just show up.

We didn't have to book entertainment last week either, but you can put shows on your calendar. Not sure you  will have more choices than we had. We got a Sneak Peek of Pixels Cabaret in 270. Luckily I saw the full show last Oct.

And Northstar never ran last week.

I'll be following along I was getting withdrawal after graphicguy's live posts ended.  Did you happen to see if there was a priority or Key line upon arrival?  Do you have MTD or a traditional MDR early or late dining? We are sailing Ovation the last week of August our itinerary is similar to yours I'm particularly interested in Victoria.  Thanks for doing this and have fun.

I didn't notice a key line but they had a suite line..  we planned to do MDR.  Our cruise friends are starting to get tempted to do Chops again.  We scheduled late dining.

I am not sure what they call it.  It's about a block from the Space Needle.  I just walked out front and snapped a couple of pics to show where we are.

That’s the same one we stayed at.  Downtown Hampton Inn right near the Space Needle.

Hello there! Thank you for all the informative pictures and insights! 😍

One question - When did the ship announced that cabins are ready to be occupied? Thank You.

----Cheers!

The announcement that rooms were available came around 2:10 - 2:15 pm.

I just thought we were going to have to switch to the WJ.  We are eating in the Grande.  We got there a few minutes before our dining time and the line went all the way back into the casino.   When we got to the back the line started moving and we were in pretty quick.

Looking at your room, I assume you have a hot water kettle in it. Some RC ships apparently took them out this past year.

Yes, a hot water kettle. DW thought at first it was a coffee maker and was excited.

Looking forward to your reports! We're on the June 24th sailing. Please report on traffic going to the port. Safe travels!

We are on the June 24th sailing as well. Have you found a board for that cruise?

How was your dinner in Grande?  I assume you will have the same table each night and can just walk in without standing in line. If possible can you post some pictures of the room especially near the windows.

Enjoying all the pictures and info.

Thank you so much for doing this! These lives are getting me pretty pumped even though our Ovation cruise is over a year away. 😉

If anyone onboard gets a chance to check: could you verify that you're able to access the cabin area of deck 13 from the lower level of the Solarium, through the "hidden" hallway? I read somewhere that not all Quantum ships do that, but I'm not sure I trust the source. 🤨

Thank you and have a wonderful time!!

I don't remember who asked about formal nights but it's the two days at sea, day 2 and day 6.

ME & Thank you for this AND this entire thread so far!  We've already hit the road stopping in Boise, ID to visit our son and packed a TON of clothes; including those for 2-formal nights.  We sail next week to celebrate our 30th Anniversary.  Our Honeymoon was on a cruise, although just slightly less fancy, sailing on The Encahndress (a converted WW2 Hospital Ship).  Back in the olden days, when they took actual photos, we'd try to see just how "silly" we could pose, more or less so when people were walking through the gallery they'd get e kick out of them.  On the one formal night on our initial cruise, they caught a pic that was equal part funny, but also captured our personalities.  We bought that one and have recreated the same on every cruise since.  Sorry I went and hijacked a bit (again).  Last week's thread and this one as just SO what I needed to get ready for next week,

Not sure what your asking..  Number boarded?  Someone mentioned 3,9xx but not an official.   I would be really surprised to see Ovation sailing at much less than capacity from now on.  So many on here we were not able to up to a GS! 😆

Wow John.  Some spectacular pictures already.

Right as I was reading this I look out the balcony and saw something that looked like a ship but was not sure because I just woke up.

I used my 10x lens and cropped and sure enough.....

Also got an instant very nice a/c going.   If you are in a balcony room and it gets warm, just open the door for a few seconds 😉
