Joyandpaul Posted May 13, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2022 Hi Folks, hope you are well? looking to book a restricted view inside cabin on deck 8 on the Caribbean Princess to Panama next year. We are looking at cabins above the photo gallery. E617 onwards. Has anyone stayed in cabins around this area and if so, please can you advise if they are relatively quiet for their position on ship? Know they are above busy areas. thanks in advance.
Rare Essiesmom Posted May 13, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2022 You won't have any problems with noise in those areas. Perhaps if you were on the port side above the Explorers Lounge, but I"ve never seen anyone complain about noise from that venue. EM

Tedferg Posted May 13, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 13, 2022 Caribbean Princess Obstructed Stateroom View (cruisedeckplans.com) Check this link you will find photos of each cabin view. One person said the cabins mid lifeboat have less obstruction because you do not see hoist mechanism etc.
Joyandpaul Posted May 13, 2022 Author #5 Share Posted May 13, 2022 Thanks very much, Tedferg. That’s great information. As we are travelling from the UK for this cruise, this is invaluable. Have a great weekend.

Relatively close to the aft stairs/elevators and convenient to the laundry. It would be my first choice if I were sailing in an obstructed view cabin again on that ship. But do realize that when looking for an obstructed view oceanview cabin on the Princess web site, you find them when you click on the Inside cabin category.
