dobiemom Posted May 25, 2022 #26 Share Posted May 25, 2022 Does anyone remember the cotton candy? I think I’m the only one that liked it. I’m such a kid! 😛

Rare Btimmer Posted May 26, 2022 #29 Share Posted May 26, 2022 We traveled on the Zuiderdam for 4 weeks in January and fell in love with the Canaletto after tolerating it for many years. The wait staff was off the chart good. And, no, one can't substitute specialty dining venues from the offered choices. I tried.

When Canaletto first opened, the waiters/waitresses would carry a large Antipasto platter from table to table and you would choose whatever you wanted. Meats, cheeses, marinated veggies.... It was awesome! 1
Tracey/Thom Posted May 27, 2022 #34 Share Posted May 27, 2022 We're just off the Nieuw Amsterdam in Alaska, and ate at Canaletto and Pinnacle Grill on May 15/16 - glad it was a promotional from HAL, because we definitely didn't think the food or the service was any better than the Main Dining room. We would not pay extra for it. It was good - but not any better.
