Fuzzy on where I can use an OBC

Good day,

 

I know I can use OBC for wifi, drink packages, spa services and shore excursions. I now know after reading through the posts, that I cannot use it for additional gratuities in the specialty restaurants. Am I able to use it to make purchases of merchandise in the onboard stores? Just trying to determine where the OBC will be accepted. I have already booked the excursions I want; I will add the drink package once on board and I do not use the spa so wondering what I will do with the rest of my OBC. Hoping shopping in the shops will be an option. Anyone know the answer to this?

Hmmm. I’m pretty sure I have used it for extra gratuities in the specialty restaurants. I know I have in the spa.

Yes you can use it in the shops.

Unless it is a refundable obc  ( usually from travel agents I believe) you cannot use it to pay any extra gratuities in speciality restaurant. We were unable to use ours  3 weeks ago on Quest.

Unless your obc is specific to shore excursions or the spa, you can use it in the shops.
