wolvey Posted May 25, 2022 #26 Share Posted May 25, 2022 I again asked princess in the chat this morning...they had my booking info so they went off of that and this is what they said: "As advise also of our support team. We advise that all cruise that had an itinerary that port in Canada will need to follow the Canada time frame. So for the Antigen test. It needs to be taken within 2 days prior sailing." so it looks like to be safe, i'll do the 2 day antigen testing tomorrow, instead of today.

chelles24 Posted June 15, 2022 #28 Share Posted June 15, 2022 I just sailed on the Discovery Princess on Sunday, June 5th from Seattle. I am up to date on vaccinations according the CDC (1 JJ initial vaccine + 1 Moderna booster, both in 2021). I took the eMed proctored Abbott BinaxNow Covid test on Thursday afternoon (so 3 days prior) and had no trouble boarding the ship with my test results. Hope this helps!
kokopelli-az Posted June 15, 2022 Author #29 Share Posted June 15, 2022 (edited) We're on the Caribbean Princess as I type this. The ship left Fort Lauderdale on Sat June 11. We took our Covid tests on the previous Wednesday. 3 days prior to sailing. Zero problem getting on the ship. We have all our Covid vaccinations (Pfizer) and two boosters. Four in total. GottaLuvCruising Posted June 16, 2022 #31 Share Posted June 16, 2022 We've cruised three times this year. For each we got the PCR test done 3 days prior. Our upcoming cruise sails from Vancouver, but we are flying into Seattle and taking Princess shuttle. To be on the safe side, we're scheduling PCR tests 3 days prior (flying 2 days prior.) The day before boarding, we'll do the proctored rapid antigen. Now, if we just don't test positive... Vaxxed, double boosted and carefully masked. Like everyone else, we're so over this. I did the on-line proctored test about 2:00 a.m. on the third day before boarding. My hotel reservations had a cancellation deadline, so if I tested positive,, I wanted to be able to cancel everything in a timely fashion.
Jase0581 Posted June 20, 2022 #33 Share Posted June 20, 2022 (edited) I boarded the Discovery Princess today in Seattle. My parents and I did our Covid tests on Thursday afternoon, so 3 days before. We did the proctored antigen tests. We had no issues boarding with those tests. I will say that check in and boarding was the worst I had seen it. From getting in line at the terminal to getting on board was almost 2 hours. Edited June 20, 2022 by Jase0581 additional info
