Unclefester6132 Posted May 31, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2022 I just got an email this morning about my upcoming cruise and saw this in the banner at the end of the email, are they really doing testing at the post and before you leave to go home? Thank you. " An additional COVID-19 Antigen test will be administered in the terminal before boarding and on the day before disembarkation." Are you unvaccinated or travelling with someone who is unvaccinated?

No, this looks like a generic message attached to the corporate emails from Celebrity. Just wondering anyone that recently (last month or 2) had to take a post test. I just did Princess last month and they didnt have anything "extra". Thank you
39august Posted May 31, 2022 #6 Share Posted May 31, 2022 Are you doing a back to back? I see no reason to test when you debark otherwise. Testing in the terminal before boarding sounds like a nightmare. Equinox has been going out of FLL for months and to my knowledge on only one occasion, several months ago, testing prior to boarding was done...and I may be wrong about that. jelayne Posted May 31, 2022 #7 Share Posted May 31, 2022 We were on the Apex in April round trip Florida and no test on return home. Prior to boarding you must have tested within 2 days not at the port.
Unclefester6132 Posted May 31, 2022 Author #8 Share Posted May 31, 2022 **UPDATE** I finally got someone to answer at Celebrity. It is for kids only, adults will not be tested at the port if they bring a test and no testing afterwards. Thanks for the response. I had to call back a few times, didnt have time to wait on hold. Thank you You're only required to take a test coming into the US when you fly in, if you walk, drive or take a boat in, you do not need to test. I have the same statement in an X email, the snippet you quoted was under the UNvaxed section. If this is NOT the case you're better off to post a screenshot.
