Sounds wonderful.  My 11 year old has severe food allergies, and traveling with her (or even just eating out) requires so much research and calling ahead etc.  She is extremely responsible and careful (she is more likely to starve to death than to eat any of her allergens).  This software sounds like it would be really useful.

This is a brilliant addition for any restaurant, not just on a ship. We don't have food alergies but are vegetarian, and often soups are made with beef or chicken stock and the server may have no knowledge of this. Even the menus can be incorrect in signifying which menu items are vegetarian or vegan.
