Thanks! Who knew!!

So 🇺🇸 hard cider is 🇬🇧 cider, and 🇺🇸 cider is 🇬🇧 apple juice…..

Hello,

I was going to say that if you described Strongbow and Magners as 'Hard' (strong) cider to some of the local farmers that brew their own 'Natch' then you would be laughed at.

Yes the allowance is $14 on Anthem

out of Southampton as menus in Uk have to show tips/taxes included….

Hello,

Contradictory info is being given out by the Loyalty Ambassador and the DL Concierge. The LA is no doubt handing a 'standard' notice saying drinks to the value of $13, whereas the DL Concierge (correctly) says $14.

That's always handy to know, esp as I haven't been on Royal for a few years now, eh LB😉

Lol, I love having these conversations with British friends of mine.

Is your apple juice clear or cloudy? We have cloudy cider & clear apple juice, both non-alcoholic. Clear apple juice is far more common here (like what you can get for breakfast on any American-based RC ship). Cider is more of a fall/winter holiday drink… and sometimes served hot. Confused even more yet?

Hello,

I would view a hot cider with even more suspicion than a hot pork pie! Both are best enjoyed cold on a warm summer afternoon/evening sat on a gingham table cloth enjoying a picnic al fresco.

Hot Cider is generally only consumed at Christmas time.  It's a seasonal thing and not really common at that. As I love cider I've tried it a few times but can't stand it.

Hot Cider is a Fall drink for me. I float fresh cranberries and a Cinnamon stick and absolutely love it!  If you add a shot of Caramel Vodka it's divine!
