motheroftwocats814 Posted June 13, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2022 I am a bit confused about the bedding in some of the Haven Suites on the Getaway. Mother and two teenaged boys. The bedding says one king and one pull out single. Any recommendations for (not the two bedroom) where there is bedd for three? The cabin descriptions are confusing. NW Pacific Posted June 13, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2022 two perons in king bed, one person in sofa pull out, in your case, I would guess you will sleep in the pull out and the boys in the King bed.
Rare BirdTravels Posted June 13, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2022 Or... Mom gets the bed and the kids take turns on the fold out bed and the floor. The chair in the bottom left side folds out to a narrow single bed. Son #2 can sleep on the floor. Your room steward can provides some additional bedding for the floor sleeper and the chair sleeper. A better (and cheaper room) is a forward facing Haven. There is a separate living room with a sofa that folds out to a double bed. Son #2 will likely end up on the floor still, but there is more floor to sleep on.

Once you are onboard (I'd suggest NOT asking about this in advance), you can discuss this with your steward and see if there is a way to squeeze a roll-away in. If space is tight (very likely!) and you want the bed folded up partly out of the way during the days, I'd suggest tipping the steward a bit at the start to let them know you really do appreciate the extra effort. Moving things like small tables or chairs to the side can often create enough space for an extra bed, but not always. (I know there is some disagreement here on CC about this, but we've come to the conclusion that in situations like this, we think it's nice to give some of the tip in advance, so the steward isn't wondering if they'll get stiffed after providing extra services, etc. Or in some cases, just for the regular services for those who are not included in the regular gratuities. But that's a personal choice. You should ask if it can be done either way, so everyone has as good a bed as possible if there is room.) GC
