Coffee & pastries in the Pinnacle Grill at breakfast

I thought I saw someone mention in a post that you could get french press coffee in the Pinnacle Grill at breakfast? Is French press what they automatically serve or do you request it and they bring you a pot? Also, pre-covid they brought around a tray with pastries to serve you, which I love, (unlike having to order them sight unseen in the mdr). Are they still walking around and serving from trays still?  Tia for any info.

We didn't automatically get French press coffee last fall on the Eurodam (and I didn't request it, sorry).

They did walk around with the pastry tray.

Yes, you do have to request the French press coffee but, as @Cruising-along says, the pastries are brought automatically.  Have fun!

So, do you need a reservation for breakfast, or do you just show up? Do they serve other items?

No reservation required but it’s open only to Neptune and Pinnacle Suite guests.  It follows the same menu and hours as the main dining room.

If one is a non-PG guest for breakfast in the MDR, make your request for a selection of pastries known to the Assistant Maitre d' on duty.  It can be done.

No French press coffee at lunch in the Pinnacle on the Koningsdam on our last 25 day cruise.
