Using OBC to book specialty dining prior to Cruise

Since we can now use the OBC to book things in advance, I have a question if anyone knows...

There are 4 of us.. 2 cabins.. we each have $100 OBC.

If I book the steakhouse for all 4 of us (bookings are linked) and use OBC to pay for it, will it take the equal $ from each person or pull all from one cabin?  Reservation includes both cabins and lists all 4 names..  Anyone know?

My Invoice says this:

You have a $XXX.XX balance in combined OBC for your stateroom.  Confirm with all OBC holders before applying credits pre cruise to avoid cancellations on board.

Which i believe means it will just take the cost from your total OBC but you could try a mock booking for the steakhouse and see how it wants to apply it just dont hit submit payment.

BUT DONT QUOTE ME lol 🙂

Each cabin should make their own reservation for the same time. Then once onboard, see the host/ess to say you are together.

In this instance that seems to be the best option.  The only way to add people outside of your cabin to a steakhouse reservation (at least that I've been able to figure out) is if you're paying for everyone.
