Quebec City Covid testing

We are on the same cruise.  We plan to do proctored tests using https://www.azova.com/travelvideo/ .  We used them for our June cruise out of Vancouver and worked great. Just need to make sure you have good wifi at your hotel.  You can use your own government supplied test kits so just pay for the proctoring....$20 US pp.

Take a look at the Azova and the lifecenter.ca threads if you have any interest in a self-administered proctored test.

Otherwise, google "covid test quebec city" for multiple results. I don't know any of them personally, so I can't make any recommendation. Prices vary considerably.

Any recommendations for antigen testing in QC?  Departing on HAL September 7th.  We are pre cruise for the 5-6th, and need a result 48 hours precruise.  TIA

Montrealer, here.  The Quebec government has a website they've been running for a while, called ClicSante, which can be used to locate various medical services, including travel COVID testing. We use it  to book COVID tests for our trips and you can, if so desired, use it to book a test in Quebec City for your upcoming HAL trip.

https://portal3.clicsante.ca/

Try inputting a postal code of G1K 8M5 as that's very close to the actual pier where your ship will dock. Alternatively, if you know your hotel's postal code, you can enter that as well. A general rule here in Quebec, as in Canada ;o), is that Shopper's Drug Marts (called Pharmaprix here ) will offer COVID testing for around $40.  Also, a local pharmacy chain called Uniprix also offer testing.  You should be able to find a local pharmacy or other test site nearby that you can select on the ClicSante site, though they usually only offer testing slots a month or two in advance, so you may have to wait a while until September slots open up.  Have a great cruise !

Do they still have testing facilities at major airports?

The Quebec City airport CYQB seems to.  From their web site:

Is it possible to get tested for COVID-19 at YQB?

It is possible to take a rapid antigen test for COVID-19 on the Quebec airport site. The Complexe Capitale Hélicoptère screening center is open 7 days a week, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can make an appointment via the website www.testcovidquebec.com.
