Where to smoke on Encore?

A semi enclosed area on the pool deck with no seating but next to a bar,  and a fully enclosed small atrium on deck 7, that one has seats but no ventilation to speak of.

There is also an enclosed area of the casino that allows smoking.

The Cigar Bar allows cigars only.

Take up vaping instead.  You can covert vape just about anywhere.  Just get a normal one like the Juul not one that makes a lot of steam and you are good to go!

Trust me there would be complaints about that too. I will admit I am a smoker but non smokers and ex smokers complain even when you follow all the rules. I do understand it is a filthy habit but even when you smoke in a smoking section of the ship or casino you will see people judging you. I am a polite smoker and try to not cause any issues but you always get the face fanners that give you a dirty look.

Vaping is considered smoking and it is FAR more dangerous than smoking (as bad as it is).

Vaping is considered smoking and your fellow passengers are more than anxious to turn you into security.

Where are the smoking sections on Encore?  Is there more than one?  Any smoking area near a bar/pub? Thanks!

There is only one place to smoke on the Encore, the glass enclosed smoking lounge on the Waterfront Deck 8 Aft (shown in photo below). The other two places that allow smoking are The Humidor for cigar smoking (Deck 8 aft) and the casino, when it is open and if you are actively gambling (Deck 7 forward). The smoking lounge entrance is on the open deck which can get a bit wet and nasty when it is raining (and is sometimes closed during extreme weather).

Encore is the least friendly ship for smokers. The outside smoking room on deck 8  is always packed and there is no ventilation. Cigarettes are not allowed in the humidor (cigars only). There is also a dedicated smoking area on deck 19 for Haven guests.

Not if they dont see you they wont.  You can vape in tons of places, nobody will be the wiser.  If your really paranoid someone will see you, just slip into the nearest bathroom,.  Besides, what are they going to say besides dont do that anymore, and you will be like okay, they dont enforce many of the rules anyway so what the hay.

Non smoker here, and I get it.  Some of my travel companions like to smoke but only on vacation and have mentioned the same thing.

Read the smoking FAQ it explicitly  mentions vaping as being the same as smoking.  Not being caught breaking the rules does not mean the rules do not exist and apply.

So what?  People break the rules every day without even thinking about it.  Just like speeding, and thats an actual law!

Lots of “smoking police”. Slightest smell of a vaper goes straight to security.

Did they close the smoking area on the pool deck?

I love it when people justify them doing something wrong just because others do other things wrong.  Strawman at its finest!  Of course as we all know when they stoop to that all it really means is they have no valid point to make.

I was on the Encore twice and both times there was smoking on the pool deck.  Just outside the buffet on the Starboard side. I walked on the Port side to avoid it but to be honest, there were never very many people there and I never once saw anyone in the Box.
