Has anyone stayed in one of the accessible cabins on the yachts since the "stretch".   We booked a last-minute guarantee and were assisgned on of the 4 accesible cabins on Star Pride.  We would have preferred the bathroom with 2 sinks.  We would love to see photos, etc.  Thanks!

You've likely found this, but there is a ton of information here:

https://www.windstarcruises.com/accessibility/

I believe, but am not sure, that there was some earlier chat the even the accessible bathrooms do have a small lip at the bathroom door, making it not too bad for those with limited mobility who can lift their feet over a small lip but difficult for those who are truly unable to do so or who are wheelchair bound.

Some of the non accessible cabins have one sink and a walk-in shower, no tub. Before the stretch, we loved booking those cabins.  We preferred walk-in shower.  With the one sink, we had lots of counter space.  Since they were so few of this type of cabin, we booked far in advance to get it.  Now, there are more cabins with walk-in showers. There are other cruise lines that have taken out tubs. Demand for cabins with big walk-in showers must be high.

Yes, Azamara pulled out 1/2 the tubs in the suites on their ships and now they have to offer upgrades to get people into them – only the shower suites sell.  On their newest ship they got the hint and pulled out most of the tubs.  When you turn a tub into a shower, the dimensions are wonderful!

Azamara has its own problems. Bathroom size is small. Pulling out the tub in the suites was a huge improvement. Even with that, we often bump into things.  For that reason, we avoid all R ships. Windstar bathrooms are large.  The space is excellent.  Oceania announced taking out tubs.

We were also assigned an accessible cabin. Smaller bed, one sink, modified shower etc. When we signed up for a guarantee, I thought the worst we would get would be forward on the bottom psngr deck. Nope, Accessible Room. We tried to make ourselves feel good about it for a couple of weeks. I finally called and they immediately moved us to a regular room in the same category. No problem. I was expecting to have to pay their $50 pp change penalty, at least. Most accommodating the land portion of WS has ever been.
