Diamond Drinks vs. Refreshment Package Drinks

Hello all! Boarding Oasis very soon and this will be the first since the start up began!! It sounds like you can order adult beverages all day from your voucher now, instead of the four hour window. Hubby and I are diamond members and also have the refreshment package. When ordering a drink how will the bartender know to put it towards the refreshment package and not the diamond voucher?  I want to use the voucher for wine and fruity drinks, instead of bottled water, soda, mocktails, etc. Thank you in advance.

Just tell him it's from your pkg. Say I'm not using my voucher for this.

I've found that if you order water/soda and you have vouchers available, bartenders will confirm before using a voucher.

Surely a YMMV thing though.

On our last cruise I basically told them each and every time I ordered a drink to use a voucher or my refreshment package. It felt very tedious.

Yes, it sounds that way jrapps. If not I guess a trip to guest services will be in order.

Honestly, I wish they would give you a coupon book instead of preloaded.  I know it might be a little hassle to carry, but it would eliminate the mistake which are extremely annoying.

 

I literally had soda taken off, even when I had a soda package.

People used to sell coupon books on eBay as well
