Limassol, Cyprus

I don't know if I am in the right place for this port of call.

 

We are looking at doing an RCCL TA that ends in Limassol, Cyprus and we were wondering how does one get home from there. I have miles with several major airlines, but none show any flights there. Is this a stop off place for another major city, or is this where you must try and fly out of?

The major airport on Cyprus is Larnaca, it's outside Limassol, about a 45-minute or so drive.

 

It's not a big airport but the biggest on the island. I've flown out of it twice -- the usual routing is Cyprus to Athens to onward.

Check Aegean Air. You should be able to transfer miles to them.

We flew Aegean from Larnaca-London.  Direct   We belong to Star Alliance.  We routinely get points credit for our Aegean flights.   

 

There are several daily direct BA flights Larnaca- London. 

 

They tend to be more expensive than Aegean.  We have done numerous Olympic/Aegean flight.  We like them.

 

There was also a direct Larnaca-Paris flight.

Larnaca is the main airport. We usually fly with BA. We go to Cyprus a couple of times a year from London. There is also Paphos airport but it’s much smaller.
