New Covid Testing Requirements.

I am sure this subject may be addressed at some point.

We are on a back to back cruise in November, there may be a change to the upcoming new testing requirement but I am putting this question out there to the CC community.

Back to back in November, first a 4 day and then a 10 day cruise on the Silhouette.

So, with the new procedure, we don't have to test for the initial 4 day cruise.

But, since it's a back to back, will we be tested for 10 day cruise during the 4 day ?

Unfortunately, the only possible answer at this point is: Maybe, maybe not.

It all depends on where you are cruising.  Lots of places still have testing requirements in place.  As to testing for the 10 day cruise in November?   Need to ask in October.   You need a Magic 8 Ball to know what will be in place 4 months from now.

Who knows what the Autumn variant will be like - you'll know late October/November what the requirements will be.

A couple of days ago, we were evaluating a Caribbean back-to-back of 9+9 days against a Caribbean back-to-back of 9+10 days.  Because we had the same question that you have, "m8zenblue" -- even though we are "scarletandgray -- and because we could not find any reference to this situation at the Celebrity Internet site, we phoned "X" and asked about it. 

 

The vacation planner told us that -- in the case of the 9+10 -- we should expect to be tested near the end of the first cruise ... BUT ... that this could change on any day in the near or distant future.
