CheersPkg4Us Posted August 1, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2022 Anyone who has recently sailed on the Conguest have anything you would like to share? Must do's, avoid these or any tips or out of the way spots. We're a month out and starting to get the fever!
evandbob Posted August 1, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2022 If you have aft mdr evening dining, it can be challenging to walk through the 5th deck to the casino or theater esp. on picture nights. I would use the 4th deck walkthrough instead, no crowds or waiting for photographers to get their pics. This applies to any of the Conquest class ships (Valor, Glory, Freedom, Liberty as well).
CruizCuz Posted August 1, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 1, 2022 We sailed on the Conquest this past March. We love that class ship. Definitely visit the Alchemy Bar and check your Funtimes to get there early. It fills up and gets busy fast! For us, relaxing and listening to the violinists in the Atrium was a must prior to dinner. Very relaxing and we would order our drinks and carry them into the dining room. That way if bar service was slower, we had a drink while waiting. Definitely go to the deli. Again, try and go when everyone is on shore or first thing. It can also form a long line very quickly. Visit the Piano Bar at least once and listen for a couple of songs. I don’t know who the player is but they are usually very entertaining. Have a great time!!
ABQrobin Posted August 1, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2022 Conquest decor is by the artist Farcus, and is inspired by the Impressionist artists. Every room is dedicated to an artists works. Some people love it, some hate it. I personally LOVE it. it is by far the most exotic decor of any ship.

I came here to post this. The buffet on Lido will be CROWDED during embark, as it always is. Ol' Fashioned BBQ is just one flight up and will normally be almost empty. If the buffet is crowded at breakfast, consider the breakfast burritos at Blue Iguana; there will usually be just a short line.
evandbob Posted August 2, 2022 #7 Share Posted August 2, 2022 The aft elevator goes up to deck 10 - to get tor the BBQ, Or you can use the stairs near the dessert display in the aft buffet. Definitely go on embarkation day!

mabella Posted August 5, 2022 #10 Share Posted August 5, 2022 Curious if anyone can confirm how many outlets or USB ports are in rooms. I see some recent reviews saying there is only 1 by the desk and other saying the bedside lamps have USB ports. It seems like perhaps Carnival has upgraded the lamps in some cabins but not all? Can anyone verify?
