It's Alaska. We have weather. We have weird weather.

No snow in Fairbanks, but the National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement regarding snow in the Brooks Range north of us.

Meanwhile back at home, my armpit hairs fall out after a few minutes of sun exposure.   That's just great.

Liberals, who profess global warming as a religion, apparently do not travel to Alaska. 🙂

Global warming is the reason.  How strange has the weather been in the Northern Hemisphere this Summer.  Unusual heat and humidity in parts of Europe and North America that don't usually experience such.  Now, snow in parts of Alaska.  While the tropics have been unusually quiet.  Very few tropical storms and no hurricanes and no tropical waves coming across the Atlantic from Western Africa.  Our climate is being upset.  For what reason?

Not sure what this is all about.  Global warming is impacting the poles at twice the intensity as near the equator, and it's melting the Alaskan glaciers.  A lot of us are heading to Alaska while the glaciers are still there.

A comment from someone who lives in Alaska -- while snow in Denali in June and July isn't really common snow has fell on the park road every month of the year.  Not every month every year, but it isn't that rare to have snow in August.
