Thanks guys, well that breached whale made up for the No Bears search part of this excursion 🐻 there were none, Zero Bears so maybe next time

 

Saw around 12 whales, only one breached.

FANTASTIC!  What dates?  What port?  We are leaving for our Alaska cruise in 2 weeks!  So excited (our 2nd time but still crazy excited).

That's pretty much opposite of what we saw when we were there.  Saw a bunch of whale tails, but no breaches.  But on the bear portion of our excursion we saw about 8 bears total, including a mama bear and 3 cubs that walked right past our viewing platform!!   ABQrobin, ours was way back in 2011 out of Icy Strait Point.
