We are also on the 5th November cruise. I would love to catch up with you on board. 🙂

Maybe I should keep my fingers crossed for a complimentary up-grade to see if we can get three in a row. 😁 We have one on our 27th August Pacific Encounter cruise (just a better location) and a mega up-grade next January on the Coral. That up-grade is from an obstructed oceanview on deck 5 to an accessible balcony on deck 8.

Well done on the Coral upgrade. Enjoy!

In case there are others on the 5th November cruise I have posted on a companion thread "Pacific Encounter 5th-12th November - Pacific Island Hopper"

I have suggested a possible M&G, to my knowledge there is are possibly 10 people doing this cruise.

Mrs Edwards   ? (I have assumed 2 hope that's correct)

That's 10 by my maths🙄

If there are others let us know.

Further to a possible M&G, if the others are interested, these are the casual Bars; Café’s; etc; for possible M&G areas, Listed on P&Os Site.

Does anyone know which would be most suitable for a meetup?

At present for a total of 10 people.

I will. We booked our January cruise to Tassie a long time ago and just went for a cheapie cabin using FCC we had from cancelled cruises. It was a very pleasant surprise to see the up-grade. I had to look at it a couple of times to be sure my eyes weren't deceiving me!!🙂

For a M&G, we have to consider when it should be. A location that would be great for the first day at sea mightn't be ideal just prior to sailaway.

If it is just prior to sailaway, possibly the Oasis Bar could work well because people who want to go to the sailaway party, just have to walk along the deck. Another good spot at sailaway and also the next morning would be Altitude on deck 18.

These are just ideas thrown in to start a discussion. 🙂

Would Altitude be open at that time? On princess it only opened at night, you could go in but there were no staff on duty.

Maybe its different with P&O?

I was a bit surprised to see it is a 2pm departure time, for this cruise!

I wasn't expecting staff to be on duty in Altitude during the day. How about I check out a few venues next week when we are on the ship. Do you have a preference for the time for the M&G? Over to you.

Hi Evon

I 'm replying on the Role Call thread, as there is another couple joined on that thread.

So they and coolygold can follow what's going on.
