Rare binro01 Posted August 16, 2022 #26 Share Posted August 16, 2022 Well, this is quite exciting news, even though it is kinda expected. When the other major cruise lines have more lax protocols, Royal could lose money quite quickly for cruises not paid in full, last minute bookings, etc. With all the financial hardships they had to endure due to no fault of their own during the pandemic, it's hard to take any self inflicted wounds.

Don’t understand why people don’t get vaccinated. So you are more interested that other people are vaccinated than they are healthy and cannot pass infection? Interesting point of view. I am vaccinated (to cruise, otherwise I work from home and have very limited contacts with other people), but I have Covid after vaccination (on cruise). Policy do not always match. Celebrity and RCI had different masks policies and even test policies... We went on Celebrity cruise in July 2021 without tests and masks.
