Edge Class Dining

Hello,

I have searched and I get many posts that are not at all what I am looking for...🤪

 

I have anytime dining, I want to be able to keep my schedule flexible, in your experience for those who have sailed Beyond and Edge in Europe has it been difficult to be seated by just showing up? I have always been seated within minutes on all other class ships in Europe, Alaska and Caribbean so mostly trying to gather if there is any difference other than that I'll now show up to any of the 4 MDR's other than just the main one?

We just returned from the Apex - Amsterdam, Ireland and Iceland. I think ship was pretty close to full. I felt awful for those with any time dining that didn’t make reservations. They sometimes had to wait over and hour with a buzzer. I love anytime dining but strongly recommend reservations or plan on getting a buzzer and going to get a drink.
