Deposit refund?

Good morning, I am considering booking my first MSC cruise. Reading the cancellation policy, am I correct that the deposit I am paying now is refundable until the 75 day mark?

I learned the hard way that deposits made on YC suites are not refundable...period.  Not that you asked that, but my point is, it's good to read the fine print.  I didn't.

It also depends on the length of the cruise. 

 

Most important......actually getting the deposit returned can vary from "quickly" to "still waiting..." whether booked in Yacht Club or not. All of mine have been returned even after the change that made Yacht Club deposits non-refundable... but others have not been so lucky. 

 

I am still waiting on a cancelled excursion to be refunded but so far that has been the only financial hiccup that I have had with MSC...but others have not been so lucky.

Depends on the length of the cruise booked and whether if you are booked in YC.  YC deposits are non-refundable, even though the booking confirmation still says it's refundable...

 

So yes, your deposit is refundable up to 75 days prior to departure if you are booked on a cruise under 4 nights and not in a Yacht Club cabin.

• Cancel 74-51 days prior to departure: Deposit Non-Refundable
