I’m happy to see this! Almost all of US sailings is better than none…

Also happy to see the change in protocol for testing for the vaxxed!

All Guests, All Aboard

Updated August 22, 2022 | Effective September 5, 2022

We’re making it easier for more guests to sail with Royal Caribbean.

Unvaccinated travelers can join us for almost all U.S. sailings.

Starting with September 5thdepartures, guests who are not vaccinated can sail on almost all cruises from the U.S. (except itineraries that visit Canada or Bermuda). More details.

Testing protocols will be easier

Starting with September 5th, for U.S. cruises that don’t visit Canada or Bermuda:

  • Vaccinated guests won’t have to take a pre-cruise test on cruises that are shorter than 10 nights.
  • Unvaccinated guests age 5 and up will need to test within 3 days before boarding, regardless of cruise length.
  • We will begin accepting results from self-administered home tests. See full testing details

Just came here to post this too!  My unvaccinated friends can sail again.  🙂

I was limited to my bookings to only friends who were vaxxed to sail with me as my cabin mate. This changes everything for me! 😊

Unvaxxed have been able to sail since August 8.

Just now it's been expanded to where they can sail.

Yes, but they had to “apply” for the sailing and most times you didn’t even know if you were “accepted” until last minute. Most of my friends didn’t want to book with those stipulations…neither would I.

Now they can just book like a normal a person.

I hope people are getting this recent (today) change to policy because the FAQ hasn't been updated, yet.

This is the link to the good news shown above:

DO NOT rely on the FAQ (until they update it):

It’s all still very confusing with all the various requirements for the different ports.

Now that the majority of the US port’s statuses have been updated, I’m now waiting/hoping the EU ones start implementing some changes.
