Rare rudeney Posted August 26, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 26, 2022 Everyday I pop into Cruise Planner to make sure there are no lower prices for DBP, UDP, Voom, etc. While in there today, I clicked the "Onboard Activities" link and saw that the All Access Tour is available, so I booked it. I guess they are bringing back some things that were closed "because...COVID".
smokeybandit Posted August 26, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 26, 2022 All access tours have been "legal" according to the cdc since March. I assume staffing is the real reason it took so long
celoplyr Posted August 26, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 26, 2022 Interesting, it says you're required to wear a KN95 mask for the entire tour when I saw it (thanks for the heads up btw!).
Rare Rubyfisch Posted August 26, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 26, 2022 Thank you! I just booked one for my solo Christmas trip on Enchantment. There was a 9 am and a 2 pm slot - does anyone have any ideas of one would be preferable to the other?

There's no mention of a mask on my cruise, even in the fine print. The only restrictions noted are: Flip-flops are not permitted in the galley for safety reasons. Please wear closed-toe shoes. Comfortable clothing with long pants Minimum age 6 yrs

Rare rudeney Posted August 26, 2022 Author #9 Share Posted August 26, 2022 I was looking at the website from my desktop PC. For Voyager Oct2nd sailing, there are none of those restrictions: Ant this is what's in the "Additional Terms & Conditions":
Rare Kellie in Texas Posted August 26, 2022 #10 Share Posted August 26, 2022 Nothing showing up for our Dec. 31 Adventure sailing out of Galveston.

Maybe it's the ship. This just showed up today, and I verified with a friend on the Sept. 18th Voyager sailing that theirs also just appeared today.

Rare Lionesss Posted August 26, 2022 #13 Share Posted August 26, 2022 I can only hope that it returns to the original offering. When we did it about 7 years ago on the Allure, it was top shelf From the kitchen, to laundry to theatre, to crews quarters to bridge and engine room. The guide was so informed and it was great to get such detailed descriptions of every area, by one of the senior officers/workers discussed everything you could ever want to know. Then in 2019, when we re-did the All access tour, it was lame. Guide knew little. It seemed like we were bother some of the officers, by getting simple comments like ... When we went to the laundry we had to wait almost 30 minutes for someone to come and talk to us and then all we got was---------------- "This is the laundry.........................any questions" Where before we got to see and hear all you would ever want to know. From washers, dryers, to sterilization, to sewing and repair to cost for crew. or "This is the engine room" As you see their are many computers and monitors here........." The best was the Bridge Not one officer would talk to us and the guide goes, "Look around, you can take pictures, but no video....................then 5 min later..............time to go" No social afterwards, with treats. Did not get our previous kitchen apron. Got to keep the lanyard. Here is hoping it gets back to the original informational tour. Take care
Rare rudeney Posted August 26, 2022 Author #14 Share Posted August 26, 2022 We did a Galley Tour some years ago and it was great. We had multiple crew members guiding and informing us. The galley staff me met along the way were all great. Ihope this All Access tour will be as good.
Ken at the beach Posted August 26, 2022 #15 Share Posted August 26, 2022 I wonder if this will mean the resumption of the D+ galley and Bridge tours will resume
