How late can we disembark from Miami - Yacht Club

We are staying in the Yacht Club - Seashore, October cruise out of Miami. Our return flight is 6pm, so a long wait after disembarkation. It would help if we can stay on the ship at least until 10am-ish?

Does anyone know how late the Yacht Club would allow passengers to stay onboard before disembarking?

Thanks so much in advance!

It's only in Europe they will let you stay on board late.

It’s also possible on the closed-loop cruises in the Lesser Antilles, as they are also not subject to US CPB.

Indeed, on all our YC Med and Lesser Antilles cruises we arranged to stay onboard through late afternoon and once early evening when we had a 9pm flight. It's a fabulous perk, and almost always we do it.

In Miami, they usually kick us off shortly after 9:30.  While many folks are willing to fight the lines and work up a sweat to be among the first off a ship we prefer to enjoy our breakfast, coffee, perhaps a last bloody mary, and wait for the crowds to clear.  We can than stroll off the ship, easily find our luggage (among the few remaining pieces) quickly clear immigration/customs, and grab a taxi (or Uber) without any long queues.
