Is Thermal Suite Included If Successful in Upgrade Bid

I am wondering if anyone knows if the thermal suite is included if you are successful in your upgrade bid. We can bid on a Spa Balcony and a Spa Club Balcony on Bliss, as well as The Haven, which we are not interested in. I did try searching the boards as well as NCL website but I could not find a definitive answer. We are in a regular balcony.

Thanks for your help 🙂

This is correct, our Dec Escape cruise, we won an upgrade from regular balcony to spa balcony for the minimum bid, which I think was $50 per person.  NCL probably won though, because I doubt we will be able to convince ourselves to sail without the spa again.  😉

Hence the name "Spa"..... Spa anything will get you entry into the Thermal Spa. It does not include any spa services.... Thats on you

If in a regular room and you bought Thermal Pass pre-sailing, if you bid on Spa Balcony and win they will refund the Thermal Pass purchase, right?

I understand the bidding and upgrading process is handled by a third party and they are trying to maximize dollars for NCL.  Wonder if their algorithm sees that you already bought a Thermal Pass (so have already paid in to NCL) and factor that into whether they award you a bid or not.  Hmmmm.

I was just getting clarification, on another cruise line with the bidding process, there are certain perks that go with the room if that room is purchased in the first place, but, the perks do not go with the room if you happen to be successful in the bidding process.

You have to call NCL to get the refund.

I was able to successfully bid on a Spa Balcony back in October for less than the cost of the thermal spa passes; once I got the upgrade confirmation, I used the customer service chat to request a refund of the passes and it was very easy.
