NCL Bliss- when do we go to Dawes Glacier?

Hello!  We will be traveling on the NCL Bliss next week.  What day do we go to Dawes Glacier, as it is not on the itinerary?  Is it after Juneau?  If so, how long do we have in Juneau and how long should we plan on watching the scenery as the cruise ship goes to the glacier?

You are in Juneau until 1:30. You should plan to be out as soon as you leave Juneau. Good chance for seeing whales and maybe spotting a bear on shore. You will get to the glacier in the late afternoon. Temps will drop to winter temperatures, so have a jacket, gloves and cap if you want the full experience. Near the glacier, you may see seals on the ice. They may open the bow for viewing. Not the best, but since the entire bow is allocated to the Haven and Vibe, it is the best you can do.

Brid Travels has it correct. We were there two weeks ago. We sat on our deck in short sleeve shirts as it was a gorgeous sunny day. Its a peaceful relaxing afternoon. Yes the bow was open the day we went.

The map on the website shows the Dawes Glacier between Sitka and Juneau

But the Itinerary has it otherwise

Just a reminder to bring binoculars.  We've spotted lots of animals on shore, in trees and in the water that we'd have missed otherwise.  Enjoy your trip!
