canoncruiser Posted September 7, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2022 I just received an email from Cunard with major changes to the Far Eastern portion of the World Cruise. For me, they are welcome as I’ve wanted to see Bali, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi and Abu Dahbi. . Times are tough out there!
Elephant1151 Posted September 7, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2022 Not surprised at the changes. We have already been notified Colombo has been removed in October and we have an extra day in Singapore.

So happy we moved our 2023 QM2 world cruise to 2024. Hopefully by then all of the silliness will have dissipated.

I think Cunard would have seriously considered whether they are putting their passengers at risk by going there....fabulous as it has been in previous calls. As for the other ports, Im sure they have not cancelled those ports without serious consideration as well.
keithm1 Posted September 9, 2022 #8 Share Posted September 9, 2022 I do not have a problem with the change of ports what I find bizarre is the offer of FFC which has to be put towards a future cruise booked on board and not one that is already booked, like most cruisers we have cruises booked into 2024.
