Salty Dog Gastropub - Discovery

On Discovery Princess, is the Salty Dog Gastropub open for lunch on sea days? Or is it strictly a dinner venue? Thanks!

It was dinner only on our Alaska cruise in July.

On the Enchanted right now, the Patters list it open on sea days from 11AM - 10PM, otherwise 6PM - 10PM . The menu clearly states cover charge is $18, but the Maitre'd who seated us said the charge was $10. We have still not been charged, no idea why.

That’s great news, as the ships get larger it is nice to see more options available for sea days.

Last Spring, we sailed the Enchanted on the TA followed by the Western Europe. We had lunch at the Salty Dog Gastro Pub several times. The main reason was we are vegetarians and Beyond Burgers was on the menu. For us, it was well worth the $18.00. Unfortunately, on our August cruise it was closed for dining due to a technical issue.
