Things to do in late October

Sailing to Bermuda for the first time at the end of the month.   We like to do things on our own.   Generally, that means hiking, eating or going to the beach.   Any suggestions?   I would like to avoid long bus/van drives as I am sensitive to that motion.   Are there things to walk to from the dock?   Looks like taking the ferry to Hamilton will open up more opportunities.

 

Any advice/suggestions would be very welcomed.

Take the ferry to Hamilton. Cute little town.

depends on how long you will be there - day trip or overnight.

if you are there more than one day , visit a beach.

Crystal Caves and the Aquarium. But is the ferry to Hamilton and then a bus from there. Unless you are on NCL. I think they still provide their ferry to St. George (but I'm not 100 % sure).

The National Museum of Bermuda is located in the Royal Naval Dockyard, just a short walk from where the ships dock at King's Wharf and Heritage Wharf.

NCL still provides a ferry from Dockyard to St. George.
