Rental car between port Everglades and Miami port

We are arriving in FLL on a Transatlantic and leaving next day on cruise from Miami.
Which car rentals have port shuttle to pick up in FLL and shuttle from drop off in Miami to port ?

Some help would be welcome as booking sites indicate just car pick up in FLL airport and we know there is a location very close to Port Everglades with shuttle. And we can not find rental close to Miami port.

To complicate :  We are arriving FLL on Sunday morning

Uber or shuttle would be cheaper and easier.

Post Covid, the number and location of non-airport car rental offices has been a bit murky. I would suggest looking at the car company websites to see where you can book...the physical location and drop off. Then call those locations to confirm they are open, offering shuttles, days and hours of operation,  etc.

Yes, very few choices with Port shuttles in Miami. Those are shown on the map. Just be prepared for a busy drop-off and long lines for the shared shuttles should you arrive in the busy window.

I assume you arrive and stay at a hotel that night? Where? Do you really need a rental car?

Free shuttle service from Port Everglades back to FLL was discontinued approximately four years ago. The easiest way to get over to FLL is either Uber, Lyft or a cab for the short fifteen minute ride. Pick up a rental vehicle from the Fort Lauderdale/ Hollywood Rental Car Center. There are no rental car facilities directly at the  Port Of Miami so if you rent from either Avis, Budget or Hertz they have downtown Miami locations that are minutes away from the port. If you rent from Alamo, National, Enterprise, Dollar or Thifty you have to return the rental vehicle at the Miami International Airport Rental Car Center located directly across from MIA. Free shuttle service from that facility was discontinued at the beginning of the Covid Pandemic. You would have to Uber, Lyft or cab it over from there to the Port Of Miami

Our plan was to stay overnight close to the port of Miami.  We would use car to do some sightseeing and go shopping on the way over (leave cases in trunk).  Just found out hotel prices are rather high in that area (Brickell) and those hotels do not offer parking and the car rental is not open anymore on Sunday late afternoon, so we would be stuck with car until next morning.
Therefore now maybe consider returning car at Miami airport in evening, stay in airport area overnight and take taxi to cruiseport next day. This then would be a Monday.  Any idea how long to foresee to get from airport area to port during monday morning rushhour ?

(BTW we have never used  Uber or Lyft or installed Ap).
