Hate to break the news to you but if any live sports are available on TV it’s probably going to be showing the World Cup in Nov. and Dec.

I had the good fortune of being on a Viking River Cruise during the World Cup. It was a tremendous experience with each town setting up large outdoor viewing areas in the square.

Right you are.  But don't forget cricket.....  Endless cricket....  Cricket instead of the Bama/Georgia championship game when Tua won it in overtime passing to Devonta Smith.😱

On our Holiday Cruise (Dec/Jan) in 2019/2020 in South America, we did get the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl game.   I'm a big NFL fan (49ers, sorry) but don't recall ever getting NFL football on any of our fall/winter cruises.  Although - I do recall other posters said they did watch the Super Bowl on February cruises.

On the 2020 WC we didn't get any "Football" on the TV, only highlights on Sky Sports. The GM mentioned that Viking didn't have a licence to broadcast any English Premier matches.

They did show the US version of football in the Star Theatre. I believe they showed the semi-finals and final of the Super Cup matches.

Thanks Andy.  That sounds like the reason.  I do recall they had some things in the Star Theatre but not football.  On our holiday cruise we had a wonderful live performance of an opera from Italy (thanks to our cruise director Heather Clancy)

We're on Viking Star right now.  Montreal to Ft. Lauderdale.  We've had a few college games on Saturdays, but no NFL games so far.

Any (NHL) hockey?  I’m worried DH is going to go into withdrawal…
