Island Dining room on the Caribbean Princess?

What's the deal with the Island Dining room on the Caribbean Princess?  We have most of our dinners scheduled in the Island for our upcoming cruise.  Then I have heard that people "heard" that the dining room is closed.
So does anyone know for sure?  Anyone on the Caribbean who can fill us in?
Thanks!

There is a roll call from Oct 10th: is

I’d ask them, as they are OB now.

If passenger volume/ staffing levels are such that only 2 of the 3 MDR can/need to operate then closing Island makes the most sense as Coral/Palm share a common finishing galley on deck 6 and Island has a separate, smaller,  finishing galley on deck 5

This would hold true for the entire Princess fleet (excluding Coral/Island) due to the consistent galley / MDR layouts.
