suzyed Posted October 17, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2022 (edited) What's the deal with the Island Dining room on the Caribbean Princess? We have most of our dinners scheduled in the Island for our upcoming cruise. Then I have heard that people "heard" that the dining room is closed. So does anyone know for sure? Anyone on the Caribbean who can fill us in? Thanks! Edited October 17, 2022 by suzyed

Tedferg Posted October 18, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2022 It was closed on our Sept 20 cruise. BTW Web version showed our reservations, App version did not show them.
AtlantaCruiser72 Posted October 19, 2022 #4 Share Posted October 19, 2022 If passenger volume/ staffing levels are such that only 2 of the 3 MDR can/need to operate then closing Island makes the most sense as Coral/Palm share a common finishing galley on deck 6 and Island has a separate, smaller, finishing galley on deck 5 This would hold true for the entire Princess fleet (excluding Coral/Island) due to the consistent galley / MDR layouts.
