The HCP form only asks for current employment ( and the header says nothing about retired HCP), BUT both the military and teacher section and application forms have a place to indicate “retired”. The HCP requires active license. screen shots ( I’m on an iPhone so I cannot get a full screen shot) Military Form: Teacher Form: HCP Form ( need active license): Edited October 24, 2022 by TiogaCruiser
Navybikermom Posted October 24, 2022 #28 Share Posted October 24, 2022 They definitely changed the form. I didn’t have to show any proof of being retired military for the past Sept cruise or the upcoming Jan cruise (submitted at the same time). Pretty sure I will for the next one though, apparently! disneyochem Posted October 25, 2022 #29 Share Posted October 25, 2022 Just applied the Educator OBC to my November 19, 2022 cruise. Wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get it on a cruise booked six months ago but got the confirmation via email. HAL rep told me that I could only get the OBC on my closest cruise. Not like the Shareholders credit. She told me to call back and apply this OBC on my next cruise—you have to complete a cruise with the OBC on it before applying it to the next one. Asked her about what cruises were eligible for this OBC—said as far as she knew all cruises were eligible…. And it is one per cabin. I’m still teaching at a college, hubby is retired from the university—only one of us got it.
Last Lion Posted November 16, 2023 #30 Share Posted November 16, 2023 Can the OBC be used to pay for gratuities? I have seen varying info on this point.
