Does HAL Still Offer Club Orange & what are the Benefits

IMO the best benefit is booking the least expensive room in a category and upgrading to a better room in the same category.  It has been my experience that the cost of adding CO is less than the cost of the upgraded room within the same category.

Yes, CO can actually save you money if you have a specific cabin in mind.  For an upcoming NS cruise, we had booked a specific V-category balcony cabin, then decided to get Club Orange.  The agent let us temp downgrade to a VH obstructed balcony, buy Club Orange, then upgrade no-cost to our original V-category cabin.  Doing so dropped our fare $410.  Club Orange cost us $350 ($25/day/person) resulting in a net savings of $60 plus we get the CO benefits.
