DaisyGoldberg Posted November 4, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2022 Just booked the hotel we usually stay at in NJ (Hilton Garden Inn). Previously they had a package where you could stay/park/get a ride to the cruise terminal. They still offer to let you park for the duration of the cruise (even though you only stay one night) , but discontinued the car service. Good news is that the room price is so much lower I don't mind paying the car service separately. Any recommendations for a regular car service? Will have our elderly mom with us so I don't want to chance Uber/Lyft availability and would like to know we'll travel "in style." Yes, I could ask their front desk and may still do so, but they probably have a deal with somebody and other leads might be better.

You'll also most likely needlessly pay the hotel's commission on it. 10 minutes ago, DaisyGoldberg said: Any recommendations for a regular car service? I used to use a company called New Road Limo when I lived in New Jersey that is sort of by there-- no idea if they are still around. The other option would be to use Blacklane which is an app that sources black car limo services. Assuming it is Manhattan Cruise Terminal being you are staying in Ridgefield it's such a short ride that really Uber or Lyft would be the easiest option-- even if you used Uber Black so you would get the nicer black cars. Without traffic its only about 25ish minutes-- a traditional limo company will most likely charge a heftier than usual premium for a ride that long. Corby114 Posted November 6, 2022 #4 Share Posted November 6, 2022 The Hilton Garden Inn is located in Ridgefield Park New Jersey, not in Ridgefield which is a separate municipality. As for shuttle service to the Manhattan Cruise Terminal I have used Garden State Limo numerous times. There prices are reasonable and they always provide excellent service. The ride from the hotel to the terminal takes approximately thirty minutes.
